The Lizards will be making history as this will be the first outdoor professional lacrosse game played in the borough of Manhattan as Icahn Stadium will be the backdrop for this very competitive battle between these Major League Lacrosse Rivals.

New York will also look to avenge a 9-3 loss to Chesapeake, as these two teams met on May 4. With key pieces missing from the Lizards roster, things will be very different the second time around as the guys will look to avoid being swept by the current MLL Champions.

Rob Pannell making an Impact:

After finishing up a successful college career at Cornell, Rob Pannell suited up for the first time in a Lizards uniform on Friday in the game versus Charlotte. Pannell made an immediate impact for New York scoring three minutes into the game, which marked his first goal with the team.

Rob went 3-1 in his first ever MLL game and was named MLL Rookie of the Week for week 5.

Seibald slated to return on Thursday:

After spending five months recovering from a broken fifth metatarsal, Max Seibald looks to return to the Lizards roster on Thursday.

JoJo Marasco set to make his Debut:

The New York Lizards 2013 First Round pick JoJo Marasco will suit up for the Lizards for the first time on Thursday. Marasco had just completed his college career at Syracuse University.

Marasco went 24 and 42 and broke the assist record by a midfielder, surpassing Paul Gaits record of 34, while also being a top 5 finalist for the Tewaarton Trophy.

Gurenlian continues to be a beast in FO win percentage:

Greg Gurenlian leads the league with a .666 face-off win percentage heading into week six of the season. Thus far Gurenlian has gone 82-123 at the X, while also grabbing 32 ground balls-which is good for third best in the league.

Lizards now have complete roster:

The New York Lizards will enter Thursday’s game against the current and defending MLL Champs with their most complete roster so far this season. After the completion of the NCAA Tournament and the addition of all the draftees, fans can finally see the complete Lizards roster in action.

Stephen Peyser breaks  2-point goal record:

With a 2-point goal nine minutes into the First Quarter, Stephen Peyser became the sole leader in 2-point goals with 16.

The Lizards and the Bayhawks game is set to air on the  CBS Sports Network, with face-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
