Here are some notes for those fans getting ready to watch the Brooklyn Nets play host to the Chicago Bulls in Game One of the Eastern Conference First Round at the Barclays Center.

If the Nets win it would mark the first postseason victory for the franchise since May 16, 2007, a 83-72 Game Five victory over the Cavaliers in Cleveland in the Eastern Conference Semis. It’d also be the 11th series-opening victory in franchise history and give Interim Head Coach PJ Carlesimo first playoff victory as a head coach since April 30, 2007.

This will be the first postseason game in Brooklyn since October 10, 1956 when 33,782 people at Ebbets Field watched the Dodgers fall to the New York Yankees in Game 7 of the 1956 World Series.

All-Time Series vs. The Bulls:

The Nets hold an overall record of 67-82 against the Bulls, with the last victory in Brooklyn happening on 2/1/13 which was a 93-89 decision. Chicago won the 2012-13 season series 3-1 with their last victory over the Nets happening on 4/4/13 which was a final score of 92-90.
