The National Football League announced on Thursday that the New York Jets will open the 2013 season at home for the fourth consecutive year, when the team host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on September 8 at MetLife Stadium. This marks the longest such stretch of home openers in club history, surpassing the previous high of three (1968-70).
