Nane, 25-year-old midfielder joins the team after playing for the Colorado Rapids in the 2011 and ’12 seasons. Last year he made nine appearances for the Rapids, scoring one goal.

Joseph who stands at 6-2 moved to the United States in 2006 to play soccer at Old Dominion University. A four-year starter in college, Nane led ODU with 15 points in his senior season, before being drafted by Toronto FC of Major League Soccer.

“When you watch Joseph play, you can quickly see the commanding physical presence he has on the field,” Cosmos head coach Giovanni Savarese said. “The combination of his defensive skill and stature should help us a lot in the middle of the pitch.”

Gonzalez, 25, plays on the left side of the defensive pitch and hails from Cali, Columbia. Juan spent his college career at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
