If the Nets win it would be the third consecutive victory against the Wizards, as well as Brooklyn‘s third consecutive road win. It’d also give the Nets a two-game road sweep of Washington, this will be the first time since the 2008-09 season that the guys accomplished this feat.
In the Nets latest victory against the Pistons, Brooklyn was able to gain a 93-90 decision over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday. It was a tightly played game that featured 21 lead changes and six ties. The victory brought Brooklyn’s record in the second half of back-to-back contest this season to 5-7, and was their second victory on the road the night following a home game.
Helping to lead the way in the victory was Brook Lopez who recorded a team-high 17 points, two blocked shots and nine boards.

On February 6th Deron Williams joined the 5,000 assist club in his 554th career game. Williams became just the seventh player since 1985-86 to tally 5,000 assist in fewer than 600 games played. The only players since 1985-86 to do so in 600 games were M. Bogues, T. Hardaway, K. Johnson, J. Kidd, C. Paul and J. Stockton.
The Nets and the Wizards game is set to air on the YES Network with tip-off slated for 7:00 p.m.
