New York Liberty announce 2013 Regular Season Schedule

The New York Liberty have released the 2013 regular season schedule, as the ladies are set to open up their 17th season in franchise history-first under new head coach and general manager Bill Laimbeer.

The franchise will play their first game on May 25 at 7:00 p.m. on the road against the Connecticut Sun, which will be a rematch of last season’s Eastern Conference Semifinals. In the first home contest of the season the Liberty are set to take on the Tulsa Shock on May 31, at 7:30 p.m.

New York will have its longest home stand of the season in July. After a four-game road trip that features three Western Conference opponents, New York will play four-straight at the Prudential Center against the Chicago Sky (July 7), Seattle Storm (July 9), Indiana Fever (July 13) and the Sky (July 18)..

Schedule highlights include: Dad’s and Daughter’s Day on June 9th at The Rock against the Atlanta Dream; Liberty mascot Maddie’s Birthday celebration on July 7th against the sky and the annual Fan Appreciation Game on September 10th against the Phoenix Mercury in the regular season finale.
