Brooklyn is looking to snap a 12-game losing streak to the Heat, which dates back to 11/14/09, while also break an six-game losing streak to Miami, which began on 2/17/10.
Over the last two games, the Nets are averaging 14.5 three-pointer after setting a season-high with 16 at Houston, a game in which the Nets also tied a franchise record by attempting 36 threes.

Deron Williams is currently 18 assist shy of 5,000 for his career and has played 550 career games. Williams would become just the seventh player since 1985-86 to record 5,000 assists in fewer than 600 games played and the 56th player in the NBA history to reach the plateau.
The most recent starting line-up of Williams-Johnson-Wallace-Evans-Lopez is now 10-3 on the season, which is the best record for any Brooklyn starting five this season.
The Brooklyn’s defense continues to be the key for success this year, as the team has been able to hold 28 of their first 45 opponents under 100 points in regulation and is 23-5 in those games. Additionally the Nets are 16-1 when holding an opponent under 90 points this season and 5-0 when an opponent fails to hit 80.
