Tip-off between the Knicks and the Cavaliers is set for 7: 30 p.m.

This will be the first of three meetings between New York and Cleveland this season, while being the lone game to be played at Madison Square Garden.

Making his case for MVP talks has been Carmelo Anthony, who was named the NBA’s Eastern Conference player of the week for games played on Monday, November 26 through Sunday, December 2. Anthony has recorded 30 points in the Knicks most recent victory against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Milestones to watch for:

Entering the Dec. 13 game versus the Lakers, Tyson Chandler needs three blocks for 1,000 for his NBA career. J.R. Smith needs one 3PT  FGM for 1,000 for his NBA career. Rasheed Wallace needs six assists for 2,000 career assists. Wallace recorded eight points in Dec. 13 win versus Los Angeles Lakers that gave him 16,004 points for his career.

The Knicks have been red-hot from the three-point arc, as they currently sit third in the NBA at .412 % while making 12.0 treys in a game, which tops the league.
