The New York Islanders announced on Wednesday that individual game tickets for the first half of the 2012-13 season will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, August 16. All fans will have the chance to get their tickets starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Nassau Coliseum Box Office, Islanders Iceworks and all Ticketmaster outlets.
Those with season tickets will have the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets at the exclusive subscriber pricing, starting on Friday, Aug. 10 at 9:30 a.m. Season ticket holders will be getting all the info on how to order tickets.
There are a ton of new ways to purchase individual game tickets before they go on sale to the general public, as on August 13 and fan that likes the Islanders on Facebook and/or follows the team on Twitter will obtain a link for the individual game ticket presales.
The Islanders will open up the season on October 13 as John Tavares and the rest of the team take on the Philadelphia Flyers at 7:00 p.m. The Battle of the Big Apple against the New York Rangers will take place on November 13 in the two rival’s first meeting of the season.
