It was announced on the official New York Islanders website today that individual game tickets for the first half of the 2011-12 season will be available to fans on Friday, August 26.

Fans will have the opportunity to the individual game tickets starting at 10 a.m. at the Nassau Coliseum Box Office, as well as the Islanders team star and all Ticketmaster outlets. The Islanders will open up their preseason scheduled on Saturday, September 24th against the New Jersey Devils.The regular season schedule sill start for the Islanders with a four-game homestand on October 8 against the Florida Panthers, with the faceoff set for 8 p.m.
