The New York Jets announced on Wednesday that they will officially start 2012 training camp when the team reports on July 26 at SUNY Cortland, with the first practice to be open to the public on July 28. This will be the first of many stops of a training camp schedule that’ll feature public practices in three different locations.
Fans will get an opportunity to see the Jets practice in person in Central New York, Long Island and New Jersey and the 2012 Training Camp is presented by JetBlue, MetLife, SNY, The Record and Toyota.
On Tuesday, August 21, the team will hold a special Family Night Practice presented by JetBlue on Long Island at Hofstra University’s James M. Shuart Stadium. The Jets will also have practices open to the public on Thursday, August 23 and Friday 24 at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, N.J.
Each location will have a Jets Fest for fans, which will feature a football themed park with skill challenges and inflatable rides, while the Jets Shop will be open for the faithful to pick-up their gear.
