Kid 8 patches and pins back on shelves for Mets fans everywhere

For those who didn’t have the opportunity to pick up the Kid 8 patches and pins there is good news-they are back on the Mets Stores shelves. The black home plate which has the lettering ‘Kid 8’ on it has been seen in patch form, and worn on the sleeves of the players during the course of the 50th Anniversary Season

The patches along with the pins sold out very quickly within the opening weeks of the Mets Season, are back and expected to sell out pretty quickly. For those fans interested in purchasing the patches and pins can do so at the Mets Team Store by the Hall of Fame.

Proceeds of the patches and pins are going to the Gary Carter Foundation, which strives to better the physical, mental and spiritual well being of children. Since 2001 the Foundation has donated over $108,000 to children’s organizations and $138,000 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (our partner in the Sweet’N Low golf tournament).
