The Brooklyn Cyclones the New York-Penn League minor league affiliate of the New York Mets continue their long partnership with the American Cancer Society, as the date for the Take Your Base Run/Walk has been set for June 30, 2012.

This will be the eighth season that the franchise has held the walk for the non-profit organization, with proceeds going to cancer research.

Participants will have the opportunity walk on the world famous Coney Island boardwalk, and the registration fee also includes a Take Your Base Jersey (for the first 300 to register) and a ticket to the 2012 Brooklyn Cyclones game.
