Citi to bring Mets-great John Franco & Mr. Met to help promote ticket presale opportunity

Citibank will be bringing their customers, and some very lucky Mets fans an opportunity of a lifetime on Monday, February 27th.  Citi, who is a proud sponsor of the New York Mets, will bring not only an exclusive presale opportunity, but a chance for fans to meet New York Mets-legend and 2012 Hall of Fame inductee John Franco, and world-famous mascot Mr. Met.

Franco and Mr. Met will be helping Citi promote an exclusive ticket presale opportunity, as Citi customers using their credit or debit cards on February 27 and 28 to purchase tickets online, will have the first shot at  single-game tickets for the 2012 season,  including Opening Day and the Subway Series. Franco will helping Citi promote this online presale opportunity by  signing autographs, while Mr. Met will pose for pictures for the first 100 fans at each of these three Manhattan locations, which are listed below:

*Citibank flagship branch in Union Square

52 E. 14 Street

From 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

*Citibank branch on 42nd Street and Madison

330 Madison Avenue

From 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

*New York Mets Clubhouse Shop

11 W 42nd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues

From 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The two-day online ticket presale event, which begins on Monday, February 27 at 10:00 a.m. and ends on Tuesday, February 28 at 11:59 p.m., is only accessible at www.Mets.com/Presale is for individual ticket purchases only, and is for customers using their Citi credit or debit cards.

Additionally Citi customers who use their credit or debit cards will receive a special 10% discount on all merchandise, excluding tickets, at the Mets Clubhouse Shop on 11 W. 42nd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues only, for the duration of the two-day promotion.
