Three games in three nights for struggling Knicks

The New York Knicks will look to snap a long slump with a three game stretch in three nights, starting with a 7:30 pm tip-off against the Detroit Pistons at Madison Square Garden. After dropping nine of their last 10 games, the Knicks will look to rebound against the Detroit.

A team featuring All-Stars and MVP’s has led to much anxiety in the city of New York, as the chemistry between Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire has led the Knicks to sitting in 10th place in the Eastern Conference.

The lack of a true point guard to make the high-powered Mike D’Antoni offense run has resulted in a 7-13 record for New York.  It was supposed to be Baron Davis leading the Knicks, but instead D’Antoni has had to search for answers from the bench due to a herniated disk.

New York will look to take advantage of the Pistons’ who had a five-game losing streak.  Detroit (4-18) is minus stars Ben Gordon and Will Bynum, who are both questionable for a start against the Knicks.
