Throughout the course of the 2011 Major League Baseball season, senior baseball writer for FOXSports Ken Rosenthal has been seen wearing a Bow Tie. The scriber was contacted after the final game of the NLCS by Dhani Jones to help with a great cause.
In 2000 Jones was a rookie linebacker with the New York Giants, when he found out that good friend Kunta Littlejohn was battling Lymphoma. As a way of supporting his friend, Dhani decided to don his first Bow Tie.
Thanks to that one action, Jones now provides others with an avenue to support a cause they believe in.
Rosenthal has been one of the biggest supporters of the Bow Tie Cause, including wearing a 9/11 Memorial tie and one to support Cystic Fibrosis during Games Two and Three of the World Series.
