In somewhat of a full circle moment for Coach Giráldez as it was around this time last year that he became of a part of the Spirit squad.

The Courage are a team that always plays the Spirit though even though they are in 10th place in the NWSL Standings.

When going up against the Courage the ladies have a 1-2-2 all-time record in the Nations Capital.

The best news for the team is the fact that they are going to have a familar face retaking the helm of the team as Adrián González is going to once again be the leader of the squad. With Coach González leading the eway the ladies played to a 10-4-1 record.

With the transition underway the main goal is to do well on Sunday, have the complete squad together and get back into the win column at Audi Field.

That all happens on Sunday as the Spirit take on the Courage with the start of the action scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
