Red Bulls Bounce back in 2-1 decision against Chicago

The New York Red Bulls were able to get back to the winning ways with a 2-1 victory against the Chicago Fire in MLS action on 4/5/25 at Sports Illustrated Stadium.

Even though the season is early, the guys are playing well in Harrison as they have a 3-0-1 record.

The match started with the visitors opening up the score in the 32′ when Jonathan Bamba found the back of the net on an assist by Philip Zinckernagel.

It was in the moments before Half that the Red Bulls offense opened up the scoring as Serge Ngoma tied the match.

New York Red Bulls fans are encouraged to watch the following video as Head Coach Sandro Schwarz along with Omar Valencia, Serge Ngoma and Tim Parker share these thoughts after the win..video is compliments of the New York Red Bulls:

When it comes time for Ngoma, he had himself a memorable day as the forward made his first start and made himself an impact by scoring the first MLS goal of the year to go along with his fourth of his career.

From there those that were in attendance got to see a goal by Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, and they were what sealed the victory in front of the enthused fanbase.

Choupo-Moting is gaining more and more momentum with his playing time with the franchise, as he now has his third MLS goal of the season, while having a goal contribution in four-straight matches.

There was a special moment for the franchise as the team saw Tim Parker making his first MLS start of the season, and with the club since November 8, 2020, against Toronto.

When it comes time for playing in Harrison the guys show great form, and are making some increidble milestones, as they have earned 488 points since 2010, which is the most in MLS during the timespan.

The guys now are going to see how they can get some winning results on the road, as they head back to the training pitch and prepare to go to Orlando to take on the Pride on 4/12/25 at Inter&Co Stadium
