One of the things that impressed the most in the game is the fact that the Pirates were able to shoot 50 percent from the field at 49.2 percent and went 13-of-19 from the free throw line. Another thing that was a trend in the night is the fact that they were able to distribute the ball for 10 assists.
Fans are also encouraged to check out the following video featuring thoughts from Head Coach Shaheen Holloway along with Kadary Richmond, Dre Davis and Al-Amir Dawes:
In terms of the low post presence the team was able to record 44 on the 76 total points in the paint along with going 11-of-15 from the stripe.
One of the best things in the night was how packed the Prudential Center is especially there were a ton of Alums in the building as the team hosted the Seton Hall versus Cancer/Hall of Fame and Greek Nights.
The Men’s Basketball team goes on the road for two games as they go up against Creighton and UConn before returning to the Prudential Center to host Villanova on Wednesday, March 6 with the tip scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
