Even though the New York Jets have been doing amazing in practices and during the quite moments, thus far during the moments when they plan in front of the faithful at MetLife Stadium the team is unable to find results.
The latest bit of frustration for Gang Green is the team’s Week 13 loss to the Atlanta Falcons with the final score totaling up to 13-8.
There were a ton of moments where the team saw positives and some that fans are going to be hopeful to forget, including the fumble by Dalvin Cook.
Fans at MetLife got to see the QB play of Trevor Siemian, as he came in later in the game to give his squad a lift. While it is still early there are plenty of question for the Jets to solve when it comes time for the Quarterback play and what the team is going to do with Zach Wilson.
In terms of the positives there were some moments that got fans rocking, including the receiving milestone of WR Garrett Wilson as he got his 150th career interception. Wilson finds his name amongst the Jets greats as he is tied with Wayne Chrebet for the most receptions in a player’s first two seasons in franchise history.
Also seeing a milestone moment in the game is TE Tyler Conklin as he surpassed 1,000 receiving yards as a member of the Jets.
WR Xavier Gipson impressed fans with his recorded punt return, kick return, reception and rush as this marks his second game in where he was able to record at least one of each, which is tied for the most in the League this season.
Fans are encouraged to check out the following video as Head Coach Robert Saleh, QB Trevor Siemian and RB Dalvin Cook share these thoughts after the game vs Atlanta…video is compliments of the New York Jets:
There was also a memorable moment for Gang Green at the start of the third quarter as K Greg Zuerlein was able to blast a 46-yard field goal, which was the second of the game. Zuerlein currently has 95th career games with multiple field goals made, which is good for the second most among kickers, since entering the league in 2012.
With all of that action combined there was still a ton of frustration and questions left to answer, as the team’s offense was unable to take flight against the Falcons.
The team heads into the upcoming practice session looking to try to solve the mystery of how to get the offense going as up next for the team is going to be a Week 14 showdown against the Houston Texans on Sunday at MetLife Stadium with the start time scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
