Fresh off the NCAA Championship victory by the University of Connecticut and with a ton of new faces in terms of Coaches on the sidelines the 2023 Men’s Basketball BIG EAST Conference Media Day brought a ton of excitement and energy to Madison Square Garden on Tuesday Afternoon.
With the Preseason Coaches’ Poll being released along with the Preseason awards, there are going to be a ton of intriguing storylines coming into the upcoming Basketball Season.
For those on the East Coast there are going to be a few to watch for, including the question of the year which is can the University of Connecticut get themselves back to the NCAA Tournament, the Huskies are going to return two starters, guard Tristen Newton and forward Alex Karaban and have a ton of newcomers to watch for.
Then aiming the focus to the College Basketball scene in the Metropolitan Area the stories that are going to be exciting to watch is how the St. John’s and the Seton Hall Men’s Basketball teams going to look in the upcoming season.
The Red Storm are going to be a completely different team, as they are now led by Basketball Hall of Fame Head Coach Rick Pitino, as he is looking to rebuild the brand of the Red Storm. As for Seton Hall they are going to be led by Second Year Head Coach Shaheen Holloway.
