When it comes to the game Team Stewart and Team Wilson showed the reason why we must support the W more than ever.

The ladies not only showed their love qnd passion for basketball but also the sportsmanship that was showcased on and off the court with these women were remarkable.

Team Stewart defeated Team Wilson 143-127. There were so many moments that added onto the magical night.

Including moments during the Post Game Press Conference when Las Vegas Aces star and Team Captain A’ja Wilson captured the attention of the world by bringing fun and laughter to the media and also capturing fans attention with some sweet dance moves during the game.

“We were already down by 50 we had to at least do something, show a little effort because you know people came to see us play. It didn’t work out we were trying to double team Jewll and she still got out of the trap. “

The MVP of the night Jewell Llyod from Seattle storm who played with Team Stewart set a new record with 31 points. Llyod 31 points broke Maya Moore and Kelsey Plum’s All-Star game record.

The new design for the MVP trophy was also a delight for the players. Kelsey Plum Stated, “I’m really happy for Jewell. They upgraded”.

Llyod also mentioned that she played extremely hard in the game for her parents it was their anniversary.

One of the trends is how invested the NBA and their stats have been with the WNBA. As there has been a ton of appearances and an investment by Dwane Wade into the Chicago Sky franchise.

Wade now a part of the Sky’s ownership group by putting in $85 million. With that investment Wade becomes the second NBA Player to invest into a WNBA franchise. The first came when Magic Johnson bought into the Los Angeles Sparks.

Llyod was very pleased about Wade deciding to invest into WNBA as a whole, “The League is growing and any good investor who wants to come in and help the league I think we are all on board for it. “

The best story of the night for fans of the WNBA is the return of star Brittney Griner as the Phoenix Mercury Center made her first WNBA All-Star Appearance after spending one year incarcerated in Russia.

Griner making a splash with her pre-game entrance, showed joy, danced and showed why she is one of the leagues best players with a tremendous performance.

The entire WNBA & Fans were also happy to have the 9x All star BG and one of the most influential women in the world at the game.

During the post game press conference a special person got a chance to interview BG. Griners Spouse asked about what advice could she give to the newbies “ Enjoy it, take it in. It’s a honor to be here. Put on for the fans, make a show and just enjoy those little moments they mean the most. “

Griner and the Phoenix Mercury got some great news prior to the start of the festivities as the next WNBA All-Star game will be hosted in Phoenix, Arizona and BG is ready to show us a good time, “ Phoenix show up its going to be a party,” Griner proclaimed.
