New York Jets make a huge splash in trade for Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers

One of the biggest challenges for any athletes is what is going to be their next step as they progress in their career. What are some of the challenges that they haven’t faced yet, what are the markets that they hope to test.

When it came time for the next chapter Aaron Rodgers knew exactly what he wanted to do and that is to be in New York and play for the New York Jets.

Rodgers, who is a great quarterback in his own way, is joining the ranks of the great New York Quarterbacks that have worn the green and white.

Jets fans are encouraged to check out the video below to hear more about what Aaron had to say about joining the team and making the transition from New York to Green Bay….video is compliments of the New York Jets

One of the greatest names in the history of the Jets is that of Joe Namath, as he is the lone Quarterback that lead the team to Super Bowl victory. Along with that Namath name is in the record books in as he holds the mark for victories (60), touchdown passes (170) and passing yards (27057).

Other great names include that of Boomer Esiason, Richard Todd, Mark Sanchez, Ken O’Brien, Chad Pennington, and Vincent Testaverde.

Ironically enough one of the names is that of Brett Favre, who also made the move from Green Bay to New York.
One of the things that New York wants to do is win now and one of the ways to do that is thanks to an athlete like Rodgers.

The soon to be Hall of Famer is known to be one of the more prolific passers in the NFL. The list of accolades for Aaron is long as he is a four-time first-team All-Pro (2011, 2014, 2020 and 2021) and a 10-time Pro Bowler.

Aaron is one of the fastest to reach 300 TD passes (144 games) and 400 TD Passes (192 games).

One of the great things about the Jets is the fact that they are building their team the right way, as their defensive unit ranks amongst some of the best out there. Currently the d-line stands ranked 4th in the NFL in scoring (18.6 pts/g) along with being ranked No. 2 in both yards per play (4.84) and yards per pass play (5.79).

It is going to be interesting to see how Aaron will react to the New York Media, how will he embrace the fast-paced style of the City and the always inquiring minds of the New York media. How will Rodger’s bond with his teammates and the fan base.

Only time will tell, for now there is a ton of positive energy and excitement about the addition of Rodgers to the New York Jets.
