One of the great things about the WWE and their superstars are the collaborative efforts that can happen. All of the superstars on the roster have such charisma and great energy that they can all be great brand ambassadors for any company.
One of the upcoming companies in the United States Football League’s season is quickly approaching and they are looking to get their name and brand into the households everywhere. In order to get the fans in Michigan to support the newest team in the Panthers they have decided to align themselves with one of the biggest WWE Superstars out there in Ettore “Big E’ Ewen, as he is going to serve as the official emcee during the course of the season.
Big E has always been known to bring the positive energy to those WWE fans everywhere and not only that but the majority of the WWE Superstars were also stars on the gridiron prior to making it in the world of Professional Wrestling.
Amazingly enough Big E is one such superstar as he played defensive line for the University of Iowa prior to finding his calling in the WWE.
Big E is always known for his passion, enthusiasm and contagious energy whenever he is seen on the WWE programming and is hoping to do the exact same thing once the Michigan Panthers season starts on April 30. Fans can catch the WWE Superstar on May 6 against the Memphis Showboats, May 13 against the Pittsburgh Maulers, May 20 against the Birmingham Stallions and June 18 against the Philadelphia Stars.
Amazingly enough the Michigan Panthers are going to have a WWE Superstar night on June 18, which will help to celebrate all of those who put their bodies on the line in the WWE along with their fanbase.
“I am excited to join forces with the USFL and the Panthers as the team returns to Michigan,” said Big E. “Detroit has some of the best fans in the world and I look forward to connecting with them at Ford Field, the host of SummerSlam this August.”
The Michigan Panthers have a ton of great plans to utilize the diverse superstar, as BIG E is going to bring his energy to Ford Field. In addition the Superstar is going to interact with the fans brining a new excitement to the USFL, he will have a chance to do interview with the fans, on-field recognitions along with touchdown celebrations.
In addition, fans can also get involved with the newly added BIG E Fan Cam Moments by tweeting photos at the game for a chance to be featured on the videoboards and on social media.

Big E will be on screen frequently, where his positive, engaging and outgoing charisma will shine through for fans in the stands and at home.” said Nancy McDonald, Vice President of Marketing at the USFL. “We couldn’t think of a better emcee for the Panther’s exciting return to Detroit.”
USFL as a company is going to be a great fit for the city of Detroit, who in their own way have a great history of football. Their iconic Ford Field has been able to host so many amazing moments.
In the time that Ford Field had been formed they have been able to host the Mid-American Conference Championship game the annual Quick Lane Bowl College Game along with Super Bowl XL on February 5, 2006, that was when the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Seattle Seahawks, by a final score of 21-10 to win their fifth Super Bowl.
The WWE also has held many events at Ford Field as WrestleMania 23 set an attendance record of 80,103.
To go along with the newly added USFL the WWE is going to be bringing SummerSlam, which is one of the WWE’s biggest events of the year to their fans on August 5. This will be the first time in 30 years that the PPV will be in Motor City and fans can expect a stacked card for what will be an amazing day of Professional Wrestling.
The Michigan Panthers, meanwhile, continues the USFL season when they host the New Jersey Generals in a 4:00 p.m. matchup on the FOX network.
