New York City FC Hoping to gain first victory on the road against New England

New York City FC has been on a bit of a rollercoaster of a ride so far, as the start of the 2023 season has them going through a ton of emotions. Thus far the Boys in Blue have played well at Yankee Stadium but have not been able to figure out how to get points on the road.

On Saturday NYCFC will not only have to figure out how to get points on the road, but doing so against the New England Revolution, who are at the top of the MLS standings.

These two are familiar foes as they have gone up against each other 21 times since 2015. Thus far NYCFC has a record of 7-10-4. During that span the Boys in Blue have been able to tally 27 goals, while New England has 31.

1495 Sports is proud to bring the following thoughts from Head Coach Nick Cushing and Midfielder Alfredo Morales. Video compliments of New York City FC:

One of the leaders for the Revolution who have been able to see the rivalry between the two squad unfold has been Gustavo Bou, as he has been one of the offensive leaders in tallying four goals in eight games in 637 minutes.

As for NYCFC they will look to Thiago Andrade, Talles Magno, Gabriel Pereira, and Santiago Rodriguez, to help them in finding a winning form in New England.

One of the players to watch for on the NYCFC roster is Richard Ledezma, as he has been able to create some great chances and was able to get a shot on goal. Ledezma is hopeful to win over the hearts of fans and Head Coach Cushing with his style of play.

Can the Boys in Blue finally notch their first victory on the road. Fans can check out all the action on Apple TV with the start of the match set for 7:30 p.m.
