Albany FireWolves acquire Thomas Vaesen from Buffalo

Looking to bolster their roster for the 2023 season the Albany FireWolves were able to acquire Thomas Vaesen from the Buffalo Bandits in a trade in exchange for Adam Bomberry.

Vaesen has had himself an outstanding career thus far, after the Bandits had selected him 14th overall by Buffalo in the 2021 Entry Draft. The forward also had himself a stellar college career playing at the University of Montevallo. During his time in College Vaesen was able to record 294 points. In his time with Buffalo, Vaesen made one appearance and was able to tally two assist in the victory over Halifax.

Thomas hopes to be an asset to the FireWolves as they take on the New York Riptide in the Battle of New York on Saturday January 21.
