Hofstra Men’s Basketball Estrada Named First Team All-Met

Hofstra junior Aaron Estrada was named to the All-Met First Team, it was announced today by the Met Basketball Writers Association.

The award will be presented at the 89th annual MBWA All-Met Haggerty Awards Dinner, held this evening at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, New York.

Estrada had a spectacular season for the Pride, as he averaged 18.5 points, 5.7 rebounds. 5.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per outing. He led Hofstra in scoring and assists, and ranked second in rebounding and steals.

A five-time Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Week Award winner this season, Estrada also led the CAA in scoring, assists, free throw percentage, and minutes played. He also ranked 10th in the league in rebounding, seventh in steals, ninth in three-pointers, second in assist/turnover ratio, and fifth in defensive rebounds.
