Fordham Men’s Basketball falls to George Mason, 77-45

The Fordham University Men’s Basketball team fell to George Mason by a score of 77-45 in College Basketball action on Wednesday. George Mason has been able to win the last three meetings that they have played against the Rams.

Leading the way for the Rams in scoring was Joel Soriano, who had 15 points and seven boards, Josh Navarro followed with 11 points, connecting on three three-pointers.

Fordham had trailed the game by eight at the half 33-24, but Soriano was able to connect with a jumper with two minutes in the second half, which was able to cut the deficit to six.

Soriano was able to record 13 of Fordham’s 20 second half points while the game. Navarro was able to record a double figure game for the second time over the past three games. Fordham was also able to see the debut of Cameron Cohn.

The Rams will return to Rose Hill Gym on Saturday, February 13 when they host Saint Louis University. Fans interested in seeing the action on TV can do so on the CBS Sports Network. This will be the 17th meeting between Fordham and Saint Louis, with the Billikens leading the all-time series 13-3.
