Excitement continues to build for the New York Mets and their fan base, as plans are already being made for the 2021 Season. It was announced by the franchise today the team’s schedule for next Spring with many great rivalry games that are set to play at Citi Field.
The Mets are set to open the 2021 regular season with a three game series starting on Thursday, April 1 at Washington versus the Nationals. The Mets Home Opener at Citi Field will be Thursday, April 8 vs. Miami. The opening homestand will continue Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11 vs. the Marlins before the Philadelphia Phillies visit Citi Field, Monday, April 12-Thursday, April 15.
Highlights of the 2021 home schedule include:
- Boston Red Sox Tuesday, April 27-Wednesday, April 28
- Baltimore Orioles Tuesday, May 11-Wednesday, May 12
- Atlanta Braves Friday, May 28-Sunday, May 30 (Memorial Day Weekend)
- Toronto Blue Jays Friday, July 23-Sunday, July 25
- Los Angeles Dodgers Friday, August 13-Sunday, August 15
- Washington Nationals Friday, August 27-Sunday, August 29
