In what could be described by many as a perfect weather day at Yankee Stadium, New York City FC and Orlando City SC shared points in a 2-2 Draw in Major League Soccer action on 5/29/16.

Frederick Brillant and David Villa scored a goal in each half, but Orlando City SC, who had to play without most of the starters were able to find a way back into the match.

Earning the first goal for the visiting team was Julio Baptista, who put in the ball at the 72 mark. Kevin Molino had the goal in stoppage time that earned the two clubs the draw.

For NYCFC, Brilliant was able to record his first Major League Soccer goal three minutes from halftime sending the home team into the locker room with the lead.

Villa scored the second goal of the match at the 66th minute, lobbying a ball into the cage. The New York City FC Captian had an opportunity from the penalty spot, but was unable to convert on it.

NYCFC moved within one point of the New York Red Bulls and Montreal Impact, level on 19 points, and two points from Eastern Conference leaders Philadelphia. NYCFC plays its final game before the Copa America Centenario break when they host Real Salt Lake Thursday at 7 p.m.
