The Hofstra University Women’s Basketball Seniors made one last apperance at home, while the Pride improved to a 21-7 overall and 12-5 in the Colonial Athletic Association all in the 66-54 victory over Charleston Sunday afternoon.
Hofstra honored all of the graduating class prior to the game, and seeing time in the game were Darius Faulk, Anjie White and Jakelle King-Gilchrist who all got to play one last time at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.
Faulk made her final game at the Mack a memorable one, as the Guard earned her first career double-double finishing the game with 12 points and a career-high 11 rebounds.
White had 14 points and added four rebounds and two blocks. King-Gilchrist posted 14 points and five rebounds. Junior guard Krystal Luciano added 13 points and five rebounds, while sophomore forward Ashunae Durant posted 10 points and a game-high 16 rebounds.
The game marked the first time this season that five players scored in double-figures for the Pride, while the Hofstra Women’s Basketball team finished with an impressive 12-1 mark at home.
Hofstra will finish out the regular season on the road with a Wednesday evening contest on March 2 at Northeastern.
