PHOTO GALLERY and POSTGAME VIDEO: Fordham Football v Lehigh University

1495 Sports is proud to bring the following photo gallery and postgame video from the Fordham University Football game versus Lehigh University in Patriot League Action.

Fordham improved to a 7-1 overall and 3-1 league mark with a 59-42 victory on 10/24. Running back Chase Edmonds rushed for a school-record of 347 yards to go along with four touchdowns.

Edmonds’ 347 rushing yards easily surpassed the former Fordham school record of 272 yards set by Chip Kron against Georgetown in 1985 and was 43 yards better than the former Patriot League mark of 304 yards set by Lafayette’s Ross Scheuerman against Lehigh in 2014.
The 347 yards also ties Edmonds with Lamar’s Kade Harrington for most rushing yards in a game in the NCAA Division I (both FBS and FCS) this year.

Fordham also had some huge plays on the defensive end of the ball including Junior Defensive back Jihaad Pretlow, who had a 23-yard interception return.

The Rams have now won 36 games since 2012, the most wins for any New York City area football team. Fordham is now 14-1 against Patriot League opponents over the past three years (the Rams were a perfect 6-0 last fall and 5-1 in 2013, tough the games in 2013 did not count in the league standings).

Fordham will be on the road for a game against Colgate University, before returning home to Jack Coffey Field on 11/7 to host Bucknell University in 1:00 pm Patriot League action.
