Also on July 14 Major League Lacrosse awarded Greg “Beast” Gurenlian is the Week 13 FOAthlete of the week as well as the Warrior Defensive Player of the Week. In addition, attackman Rob Pannell took home the Coca-Cola Player of the Game honors on Thursday night. Both Gurenlian and Pannell were key cogs in the Lizards’ 18-15 victory over a relentless Denver Outlaws team.

Gurenlian put up quality numbers in his Week 13 performance, providing instant spark off every faceoff. He won 30 of 35, for an 86 percent total on the evening. Totaling five goals and two assists on the night, Pannell has not scored less than three points in any game this season.
