World Championship Boxing returns to the Theater at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, June 13th on the eve of the annual Puerto Rican Day Parade. In the main event, two undefeated knockout artists will collide, as Jamaica’s rising superstar Nicholas ‘The Axe Man’ Walters (25-0, 21 KOs) defends his WBO Super Featherweight Title against top-rated contender Miguel ‘The Scorpion’ Marriaga (20-0, 18 KOs) from Colombia.
In the co-feature, undefeated Puerto Rican lightweight sensation, Felix ‘El Diamante’ Verdejo (17-0, 13 KOs) will make his HBO debut as he continues his quest for a World title. Verdejo will take on undefeated challenger Ivan Najera (16-0, 8 KOs) from San Antonio, Texas.
