St. John’s guard D’Angelo Harrison is one of 21 seniors selected by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) to participate in the 2015 Reese’s Division I College All-Star Game. The game will be played on Final Four Friday, April 3, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Harrison will play for the East All-Stars, coached by University of Nebraska head coach Tim Miles. Harrison is joined on the East All-Star roster by five other BIG EAST players, including LaDontae Henton (Providence), Darun Hilliard (Villanova), JayVaughn Pinkston (Villanova), Matt Stainbrook (Xavier) and Kameron Woods (Butler).

A first team NABC District 5 selection, a USBWA All-District II honoree and a first team All-BIG EAST choice as a senior, Harrison helped lead St. John’s to an NCAA Tournament berth and a 21-win season.

The guard finished second in the conference in scoring at 17.5 points per game and reached double-figures in 30-of-33 contests, including 14 20-point efforts. The senior also ranked sixth in the league in 3-point field goals made per game (2.0) and eighth in free throw shooting (79.9 percent).

One of just three St. John’s players all-time to reach the 2,000-point mark, Harrison finished his career as the third-leading scorer in program-history with 2,178 points. The guard reached double-figures in 107-of-125 games in his career and also recorded 53 20-point performances. Harrison drained a program-record 264 3-pointers and ranks ninth all-time in BIG EAST history with 1,178 points in league games.

Harrison, who also earned first team All-BIG EAST accolades as a junior, became the fifth St. John’s player to earn multiple first team All-Conference honors and the first player since Marcus Hatten (2002-03) to earn back-to-back first team accolades.
