The 2015 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Champion Manhattan Jaspers will face Hampton University in the first round of the NCAA Men’s Division I Championship in Dayton, Ohio, on Tuesday, March 17 at 6:40 p.m.

The back-to-back MAAC Champions finished the season with a final record of 19-13 and defeated Iona 79-69 to qualify for the eighth NCAA appearance in school history.

The Jaspers have won four straight, and seven of the last eight games. Manhattan is 5-2 in neutral contest in the 2014-15 season.

Hampton, which became the MEAC Champions by defeating Delaware State, 82-61, enters the tournament with an overall record of 16-17.

The winner of Tuesday’s game will advance to the second round to take on overall No. 1 seed the University of Kentucky on Thursday, March 19 in Louisville, Ky.
