For the Rams they had the momentum in their favor, in the first half of play but it was a blocked punt and fumble recovery for the Black Knights that had turned the game around.

Fordham was able to strike first as Kicker Michael Marando (Brooklyn, NY) kicked a 40-yard field goal after the offense moved the chains well on the first drive of the game.

Army responded with a score in the Second Quarter when Running back Terry Baggett (Chicago, Ill.) helped the team cap a 15 play, 80-yard drive with a touchdown. During the course of this possession the Black Knights had a huge play from Quarterback AJ Schurr (Libertyville, Ill.) who rushed for 54-yards on one of the possessions.

Schurr had a great game for the hosts recording 70 yards on four carries. The game quickly went from having a more defensive feel to one of electricity in the air thanks to two trick plays as Fordham and Army were able to pull out very interesting ones during the course of the game.

The first trick play came from the Fordham bench as the team called upon Punter Joseph Pavlik (Chicago, Ill.) took the pass and was able to connect with Running back Marc DeSisto (Barrington, R.I.) for a 29-yard touchdown.

Army had something up their sleeve a bit later in the game, but first came the huge interception for Army as Defensive Lineman John Voit (Wildwood, Mo.) was able to record his first ever for the Black Knights.

After trading possessions Fordham had the ball around the 1:10 mark, and were not able to find anything on the offense causing the team to punt away the ball. That was when Army stepped up to block the punt, which was recovered by Lamar Johnson-Harris (Milwaukee, Wis.) for the touchdown.

It was sometime after that fans of the Fordham Football team noticed the change of momentum go the way of the Black Knights, who eventually earned the victory.

In the good news for fans of the Fordham Football the team saw the return of regular starting Quarterback Michael Nebrich (Burke, Va.) who  completed 27-of-38 attempts in the game. Nebrich was able to find a few good connections in the game including Wide Receiver Brian Wetzel (Dallas, Tex.) who had 193 yards in the game.

This was the final regular season game for the Fordham University Football team, who now await their opponent in the upcoming NCAA FCS Tournament. The selection will be made at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 23. Army will get to play one last regular season game on 12/13 when they face longtime rival Navy.
