Here are some notes as the New York Islanders (8-11-3) continue their road trip with a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins (14-8-0) on Friday Night.

11/19/13: NYI 2 at TOR 5
Casey Cizikas and Frans Nielsen scored in the Islanders’ 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre on Tuesday. Mason Raymond’s third period goal held up as the game-winner, while Phil Kessel (two goals), Joffrey Lupul (three assists) and Trevor Smith (one goal, two assists) had multi-point games for the Maple Leafs.
TONIGHT’S MATCHUP
The Islanders continue a three-game road trip tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins. It’s the second of four meeting’s this season between the clubs; the Isles won the first game of the season series 4-3 on Oct. 25 in Pittsburgh on Josh Bailey’s game winner with 1:40 remaining.

• Back-to-Back: The Islanders play their fifth set of back-to-back games this season. The Isles are 4-3-1 in back-to-back games and swept their last set against Ottawa and Boston.
 Tavares vs. Crosby: Two of the leagues’ top-five scorers, Sidney Crosby and John Tavares, will face-off tonight. Tavares is fourth with 25 points (9g/16a) while Crosby is first with 28 points (11g/17a).
The Islanders and Penguins game is set to air on the MSG Plus Network, with face-off schedule for 7:00 p.m.
