Fireworks, fights and a good time had by all at Impact Wrestling BaseBrawl event in Brooklyn

It was a night filled with fireworks, fights and a great night for both professional wrestling and the borough of Brooklyn, as not only the stars of Impact Wrestling, but MCU Park shined.

In what maybe the first professional wrestling event held in Coney Island since Hurricane Sandy fans lined up by the bunches for a glimpse to meet some of their favorite stars of Impact Wrestling in their only New York City appearance on a scorching hot Friday night.

The young men and women of Impact delivered a show that was just as scintillating, as each member of the brand were allowed an opportunity to show a very loyal and loud fanbase in Brooklyn why they should tune in on Thursday nights to Spike TV.

This night featured everything from the comedy relief of one Eric Young to the young lions of Jessie Godderz, Gunner, Bobby Roode and Joseph Park as well as the always lovely and talented Knockouts Mickie James and Velvet Sky.

Sky along with Devon and Bully Ray were among the New York contingency making their return home. Other fan favorites include Jeff Hardy, Bad Influence Christopher Daniels and Kazarian as well as Austin Aries who bills himself as the greatest man that ever lived.

One of the most valuable players for Impact Wrestling was the only Olympic Gold Medalist in Professional Wrestling Kurt Angle. Angle who not only fought Aces and Eights president Bully Ray in an intense matchup in the Main Event stood in the middle of the Impact Wrestling ring for about an hour just to make sure he met every single fan who bough a photo op with him.

Throughout the night one had to be impressed with all of the stars of Impact Wrestling, who fans had the chance to meet in various stages throughout the day. This is the beautiful thing about the BaseBrawl event as you really get an up-close and personal one-on-one time with all of your favorite stars.

Not only did the crew at Impact Wrestling Impress, but MCU Park home of the Brooklyn Cyclones and Coney Island itself put on a spectacular show for the fans in attendance.

The world famous Parachute Drop was able to put on an impressive light display set to some catchy dance tunes, and for those fans staying to the end were also treated to a fireworks display.

All in all it was a great day for both the company that is Impact Wrestling and the borough that is Brooklyn as truly everyone was allowed to shine on a night that is not to be forgotten.
