The Rangers are entering into tonights contest on a high, as they won a thrilling Quarterfinal series against the Washington Capitals. On Monday the Blueshirts recorded a 5-0 decision and enter with a 212-229-8 record all-time in 449 playoff games.

New York and Boston are meeting in the playoffs for the 10th time overall and the first time in 40 years. Their last postseason encounter was in the 1973 Quarterfinals, which was a 4-1 victory for the Rangers.
