Here are some notes for those fans getting ready to watch the New York Knicks (38-22) take on the Golden State Warriors (35-29) in NBA action.

This will be the final of two meetings between these two teams, with the Knicks holding a 1-0 season series edge. New York will look to win its first season series against the Warriors sine the 2000-01 season.

Carmelo Anthony posted 35 points and eight assists in one meeting this season, while Tyson Chandler grabbed a career-high 28 rebounds in the victory.

The Knicks outscored Utah 55-38 in the first half to cruise to a 113-84 victory at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. J.R. Smith led all scoring with 24 points on 10-of-18 shooting, while also adding six boards in over 82 minutes.

2001: The Knicks rallied for their biggest comeback victory in more than six years to defeat Miami 86-83. New York stormed back from a 21-point first-quarter deficit to earn the victory, while thrilling a sellout Madison Square Garden and also impressing a national NBC audience.

2009: New York overcomes a 12-point deficit with 11:49 remaining to earn a 116-111 overtime victory over Detroit. Nate Robinson leads all Knicks scorers with 30 points and six assists, while David Lee posted 16 points and 18 boards.
