Here are some notes for those fans getting ready to watch the New York Rangers (10-8-2) host the Philadelphia Flyers (11-11-1) in NHL action at Madison Square Garden.

New York will conclude their four-game homestand tonight, as the team currently ranks fourth in the Atlantic Division and ninth in the Eastern Conference.

The Rangers have been able to win nine of their last 10 games against the Flyers, which date back to a 7-0 victory at Madison Square Garden on March 6, 2011. New York has outscored Philly, 37-16, over the span.

New York will enter tonight’s game with a five-game winning streak against Philly at MSG, as the Blueshirts have outscored the Flyers, 20-5, during the streak. The Rangers currently rank fifth in the NHL with an 8-4-1 (17 points) record at home.

The Rangers and Flyers game is set to air on the MSG network, with face-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
