Major League Baseball announced on Thursday that the registration process to purchase tickets and volunteer for the 2013 MLB All-Star Game at Citi Field is now open.

There are ticket strips for fans to register for, that include one ticket to each All-Star Week event at the park, two MLB All-Star FanFest tickets and one Official All-Star Game program.
This will be the second time that the Mets have hosted the Midsummer Classic and the ninth All-Star game held in New York City.
Several Mets have already made their mark at the annual celebration of baseball, including current stars David Wright and Matt Harvey. Wright who has participated in six All-Star games, including the All-Star Futures Game in 2004 and the Home Run Derby in 2012. Harvey was also a part of the All-Star Futures Game in 2011.
