On a beautiful Friday afternoon at Citi Field, the New York Mets hosted 75 Wheelchair softball players in the 11th annual tournament at Citi Field. Helping to cheer on participants were greats Edgardo Alfonzo and Bud Harrelson.
Participating in this years tournament were teams from the Queens, the Bronx, Boston, Chicago and Philadelphia. The franchise also held a clinic for 100 children with special needs in partnership with the New York City Department of Education.
