Yankees stars lending hand to Habitat for Humanity build during All-Star break

New York Yankees stars C.C. Sabathia, Derek Jeter and Curtis Granderson took time during the All-Star break to participate in the All-Star build with the Habitat for Humanity organization. Major League Baseball, State Farm, the MLB Players Trust and Holiday Inn Hotels all teamed-up to help the tornado-ravaged parts of Joplin, Mo.

Those interested in helping out with a great cause can do so at anytime by texting ALLSTAR to 25383 to donate $10 to support Habitat’s disaster response work; message and data rates may apply. Those donations will be matched by Holiday Inn Hotels who will add up to $30,000, and contribute additional funding, if necessary, in order to guarantee a minimum donation of $60,000 to Habitat for Humanity.
