The New York Liberty announced through their official twitter page @nyliberty and facebook that guard Cappie Pondexter is scheduled to hold her first annual wheelchair classic on July 8th after the game against the San Antonio Silver Stars. The Liberty will return home to the Prudential center after a thrilling 64-59 victory over the Chicago Sky on Friday. Advertised on the tweet is Becky Hammon, Vickie Johnson, & Essence Carson!
There will be a baseball game and a silent auction that will include autographed gear by the ladies. Fans are encouraged to stay after the game to catch all the action!
